Danielle's Maternity Shoot: Maternity Photography. Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

I met Danielle, the mom to be, in college. There was a group of six of us girls that were working to get our masters degree in early childhood special education (All while we worked full time as teachers already) We were in all the same classes, did all of the required group projects together, and honestly- I don’t know how I would have gotten through it without them. Danielle was one of those girls that helped to keep me sane and made school fun. We even got to work in the same school building this past year.

I was so excited when Danielle contacted me to set up a maternity photo shoot.

I met Danielle & her husband Joe in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn for Danielle’s maternity session. Danielle and Joe were married in 2012 and are now expecting their first child. A baby girl to be named Dakota. It was a warm sunny day and the sun was just starting to settle down and peek through the leaves. I can only imagine that Danielle was feeling uncomfortable and exhausted. After all she is due in just a few weeks! However, Danielle was up for anything, relaxed, and in good spirits. Danielle is smart, funny, and kind and after meeting Joe this past Saturday, I can say he possesses the same qualities. Joe was attentive and it was clear that he was already in love with baby Dakota.
